SPAM received an unsolicited phone call at 8.58 on a Saturday morning, from what sounded like an Indian call centre. The caller claimed she was contacting me on behalf of Legal & General with regards to my washing machine. I explained I was on the TPS & clearly stated I wanted my phone number removed from their database & not called again. They called my mobile and left a message for me to phone with meter readings (even though I sumitted them on-line in last 30 days). They get paid for each reading, without them collecting it. So my energy provider has increased costs(passed onto the customer) to receive something they already have. I ll save costs for me and my provider by submitting on-line.

I received a call approx 7 pm, and the man on the phones accent was very hard to understand, however i did try as he stated he needed 3 seconds of my time, NO LONGER, then proceeded to ask me a whole lot of questions i felt absolutely led to nowhere, like, the brand of my tv, my current relationship status, did i work, was i insured, who my power provider was my phone provider which contract phone i was with, but always said, after me asking "can you say that again please" he then said i has a chance of 4 l
I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.

Possible spam or scam call. Caller mumbled something about BT openreach and tried to have a conversation with me. When I enquired what the call was about, he replied that he "just wanted to talk to me"....???? And then hung up.

SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.
Have previously had the microsoft scam, trying to get remote access to my pc - unfortunately even the police were not concerned about this really. Now Im getting them saying they are from "Peoples Albanian" saying they are calling me regarding the survey I took part in ( I did not) on behalf of UK companies. I get up to 5 calls per day, I really wish this would stop its a total nightmare, absolutely fed up with it bee going on for a long time now!
