scammers calling me back after I almost fell for their online fraud....I tried to watch a film and a WINDOWS message came across the screen to say i have a virus and to ring these number (supposedly WINDOWS) , as not to completely ruin my laptop I called the number then immediately realised what was going on...a man answered since then the second number has been calling me.... both say London England on my numbers list 02039233300 and 02045205156

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. My mobile number is not in use, just use it for mobile data. Just had a call and got an automated "you have a Fedex package waiting" I just hung up.

I had 2 calls from this number today 17/04/22 and as soon as I answered the line went dead no verbal response. I expect it’s a scam wanting me to call beach and get charged an extortionate fee for doing so. Who called me.co.uk implies the call was placed from the Kemerovo Region of the Russian Federation.

Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. 01204439445 Interestingly, this is one of several I've recently had, all using my area prefix. An automated vioce usually, claiming various things, in this instance, claiming to be an automated message from my 'bank' regarding a suspicious £300 Amazon charge, it then asks you to press a button option to respond. Don't do it, as I recall, doing so ensures you will get put on a list for more calls, simply because a 'human' responded
