SCAM Automated call supposedly from Amazon saying there is a parcel waiting for me, but hit 1 to cancel.

Hangs up. Block them

They kicked off with "It's just a quick call" which sends alarm bells in my head. They started asking question about my life insurance, I asked where they took the number from, and as always that is where the conversation ends. SCAM, don't talk to them

Nuisance call

Scammer trying to convince me they had detected a virus on my computer.

asian man called Louisa called from uk viewpoint... have recieved a number of these calls, they can get very abusive and vulgar, just dont give them the time of day.

I've had a few calls from this number and a couple of times they've hung up when I've answered. When I phoned back they said they answered the phone 'Pension Service'. Cold callers, very annoying

This is my local code but the guy called from a call centre and wanted to talk about life insurance was very vague till I hung up

This was apparently another National crime agency scam telling me to change my real name and press 1 or else my national insurance number will be compromised.

insurance claim.they suggested false information should be submitted regarding injuries after a collision I was involved in,to be able to receive £1500 in compensation. I was 100% by the way.

Automated call , possibly scam/fraud from "my bank" asking to press 1, etc Will check with bank and repost later

SCAM - Pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse

THIS COMPANY JUST WANTS TO SELL YOU GAS AND ELEC BUT CLAIM TO BE CALLING FROM THE SUPPLIER, THEY ARE COMPLETLY HOODWINKING CONSUMERS

Wanting to update my details for investment newsletters. I don't subscribe to any investment newsletters, I don't want to, and I don't have any investments. Far to familiar with me on the call for my liking, too. not my 'mate'.

Update: After three silent calls, the fourth had a human at the end. Renault offering Mot discounts etc. Silent calls are intimidating and very unprofessional from large organisation, and guaranteed to lose custom!
