Accepted call and was greeted with friendly How are you today. BUT then went on to ask if I had heard of an IVA. Said yes and asked how they had my number. The reply was they were ringing on behalf of the government to stop people paying excessive credit charges. Asked them to remove my number. Staff member shirty said she had not spoken to me before and just wanted to know my circumstances. Is this one big scam? My mobile is blocked and number hidden so where do they get the information?
These are scammers pretending to be from TalkTalk telling you that you will lose your Internet.
The caller said he was from 3, I doubt it. 3 customer services do not call on premium rate numbers for a start. He was trying to sell 3 mobile contracts to the families of 3 contract holders. His next call will probably be from Vodaphone!
