I received a miss call, when I called back, a voice message answered and it said thank you for registering and we will hold your number or something. They didn't identify themselves in the message.
Called three times this morning and left no message on my answering service so, obviously nothing important, other than being a nuisance.

I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!
