Rang several times in quick succession on mobile and landline, did not identify themselves and left no message. Call centre??

They called me and asked about incurance , accident bla bla bla l keep ignore unknown numbers but they keep changing its doing my heading

missed call....called back & it is a PPI claim helpline. Told them to take me off their database.

Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. I hung up but thought to call 1471 again and noted down the number being, 0203-4574180 and dialled it to ascertain exactly who had called in case i

Don't recognise this number, all it said was it called from York!

This is the first call from this number. I didn't answer it because it don't know the identity of the caller. Must be a nuisance call as no voicemail was left.
