An male idiot called me to follow up on a brochure I had ordered. I told him I previously did arrange for a home visit and these planks cancelled it at 2 hours notice citing a broken down car. I told him that this was a lame excuse - hadn’t they heard of car hire? He kept saying “ we can foretell a breakdown” repeatedly! Scam will say you it's tax fraud and there will be a warrent out for your arrest. It is a scam to get hold of all your details off your phone i. e bank details, passwords to anything you have online
SCAM Insurance scam... tell them about your accident and they will get extra money for you from the third party insurance... Pushy and called from two different numbers... I hung up on first and they called from different location. Claim they are registered, but the compnay was dissolved in 2021, could not provdie website or further ifformation about when they compnay was set up.

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

SCAM - says there is a tax fraud registered in my name and I need to press 1 - ended call immediately. Anything relating to tax would not be relayed across a phone call - HMRC would contact you via the post.

This caller left a recorded message to say "to find out more about this case before we proceed to legal action press 1". If you press 1 you just get a repeat of the message. For the elderly like me this is quite frightening.
