This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. absolute nightmare. called about 10 times a week from different numbers, even though i block the new number everytime. Asked them to take the number off the list.

This number keeps ringing me daily, I keep missing the call (Not sure if it just rings once or not), when I try to call back, it s not possible. Who is this and how do I block it??

Recorded call that states there is urgent news about your pension bonus-how stupid do they think we are! I have had a number of these calls over the last couple of weeks. Dialing 1471 gives this number 0161 752 0020. I have not contacted this number nor will I, this is quite obviusly a scam of some sort.
