Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.

The person called about my sky broadband and ask me if I was living at a certain address. When I told her that I moved she said she will update her system but I told her to check with sky because they have my new address. Then she hang up.

BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Incredibly rude asian sounding man told me he was ringing from the citizens advice bureau about my unsecured debts. Asking for someone with a different name, informed him three times that wasn't my name but he kept talking over me. Told him I didn't have any unsecured debts he then asked me if I was dropped on my head as a child because I was a liar and obviously stupid. Absolute bunch of time wasters.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.
