The call was from Smart Employee Eye Care. This made sense as I had just requested an Eye care voucher through work.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. Friendly call about my insurance which I was looking into online. Answered my questioned and sorted it out for less than I thought.
I believe it’s a scam. Saying they are from a council calling about repairs. Lady with South African accent. Hung up on me when I asked what property she was referring to
Female asked politely how I was then what handset I had. Said I do not want contact and told her she is breach of Telephone Preference and Information Commissioner. She hung up. I expect many more fraudulent calls now!
