When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . SCAM - Unsolicited call stating they spoke to me ages ago and implied I'd agreed to sponsor books for local school. Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. More needs to be done to shut these types of scammer down!!!

I don’t know who they are but I will find them I have a very unique set of skills I will kill you. They are saying that they want to send free lottery tickets. Scam. They are a debt recovery agency trying to track down people with bad debt. I don’t do debt I owe no one anything how the hell they got my number is a mystery. Any I think they are a fraud. The number is now blocked. I thought there was a law against this sort of phone scam.

Someone with a very heavy Indian accent called my mobile today offering me a free phone if I would give him my post code and details, he would then bring it round to me, he also said he was calling me because his system said I was poor and earned less than £3000 a month, I told him his information was wrong and that he was a scammer and should do better with his life, even after all that he still kept asking me for my details, I kept him on the phone for over 10 minutes.

Call center for Learning Curve . They have your number if you have ever searched or done the starting process for one of the 'free Level 2 courses' with government funding. The company are legit BUT beware the 'free' government funding claim - it is funded, but, from your adult learning grant which is means tested, they need all your income details etc and a £125 fee if you do not complete the course.

A cold call from a Russian-based phone ... one doesn't need to give too much thought to that ... I obviously didn't answer.
SCAM Missed a call from this number, tried to call it back and an American voice says 'this number is not in service. Please check the number and try again' so whoever it is, is obviously using a spoof service to attempt to scam people. If they wasn't trying to scam people, then they would have a legit phone number!

SCAM claimed to be calling from sky to sort out my router which is apparently faulty. I said we are not having problems with internet speed and would call myself if I have any concerns. He hung up.

This UK mobile number called my mobile and it was an automated voice saying it was about my "Visa OR Mastercard" (which one?) and that £600 had been spent on it 15 minutes ago. Press 1 to stop the payment. I did not press anything and hung up.

Called me in Portugal saying I had shown interest in their Swiss finance company. I asked where they got my number they said I had given it to them. I said I had not and they got cross with me saying where did they get the number from then?
