The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls sniffing out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else, then the line will be logged as 'a VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back later by some con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number calling you, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scammed!

NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.

Scam number, said I'd been in a car accident and was owed £400k and they simply needed my debit card number, expiry date and the 3 digits on the back so they could "transfer the funds" to my account. When I declined to provide the details they told me I was "being a nerd".
This is the second call from this number - we know no one in Leeds so didn't answer it.
