SCAM - claims to be HMRC investigating you for tax evasion - do not give them any information. As I was suspicuious from the start, as a test I gave them fictional name, postcode etc., and after they told me they have the file on me in front of them, I knew it could not be true HMRC
I have been called 3 times by this number over the last 2 weeks - often at highly inconvenient meal times. It appears to be cold calling fund raising drive linked with University of Birmingham (I am an alumnus). Very annoying and puts me off ever donating any dosh to the University (even if I had some to spare! I would like this to stop.
Entirely unsolicited e-mail asking me to claim for an accident I never had! Then I suppose I just have to furnish them with my bank details so that they can deposit a lump of cash in my account ! How do these people get off with it !?
