Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

Appears to be a phishing scam. I got an ebay order confirmation for an item I did not order. This number was given for reporting fraudulent purchses. t sounds like an Indian caallcentre, and they attemted to get me to download Anydesk, in order to access my computer!!

Beware of possible malicious of Fraudsters trying to call you. I answered this call on my phone but no one replied on the other end when i said Hello. 01560 485445 This number has now been permanently blocked on my phone. Don't answer unless you know for definite who is calling you. Just my advice.

They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.
