Seems to be someone trying to do an Amazon scam
"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. Voicemail (automated msg) had my correct name. Checked my account online for messages: none. Scammers have tried twice to call me. Have now blocked t

Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. SCAM This person rang me 3 times one after the other. He said he was from an investment firm and I stopped his spiel as soon as I heard that. He became extreme belligerent when I told him I wasn't interested and to remove my details from his list. I ended the call and he had the audacity to keep ringing me even though I kept rejecting his call!

It claimed to be checking about possible fraudulent payments on my account, so it is probably a scam.
Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.

Didn't answer call due to the number. No introduction just talking in the background as they did not know it had gone to answerphone. Not a European language being spoken but talked about 11 thousand and laughing. Possibly Indian. SPAM
SPAM stopped ringing by time I got to my landline. I called the number back 5 minutes later to see who it was and a computer voice said the number was no longer in use.
