Phone number called me but did not speak when I answered
Missed call - no voicemail message left and after reading the couple of comments already made about this number, I have blocked it!
Different numbers starting with 020 8894 keep calling me and when I don't pick up they never leave a message. It's a number that purports to be in Trafalgar Square, but is in fact an Indian call centre.
Some sort of marketing - Indian sounding chap, polite but I ended the call.

Company calling themselves Diamond Regal. Don t know what they are flogging, other than it isn t PPI and they claim it is something to do with a change in law. Just an stupid voice recording from 'The National Crime Agency' threatening to cut off my National Insurance benefits and arrest me due to fraud if I didn't call back. So, just for a laugh, I pressed 1. Got a lot of call centre noise with Indian accents but no one answering. So I screamed down the phone and then got an extremely abusive American accented voice with whom I had a shouting match (I won). NO-ONE from a UK crime agency or a UK government would attempt to contact someone like that.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.
