who rang me 01784423424? Salvation Army are calling on phone apparently to hand out grants for energy bills etc asap- b4 March ends. Although initially we thought it was a scam so I even rang my pastor who assumed the same .Turns out they really seem to be legit and are asking for bank details on the phone as they only have a short time to give the grants of £100 each house to vulnerable peeps on PIP etc I rang their HQ from number on official site and it all seems sound so far.

IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit. The are committing fraud as they have no valid contract with anyone. Smart Meters cause health issues and should be banned asap.I blocked the scammer. No consent.
