Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

Kirby Vacuum (allegedly - I suspect some form of UK distributor) calls for many years, refuses to remove my details - I have complained to ICO and suggest others do likewise. Also uses 01257 -88XXXXX numbers

They constantly ring asking for Karen Thorpe - we have never heard of her. She has never lived here, but they won t accept this. They say that they will take our number off their database, but a couple of months later, they ring again.

They have called me 8 times today, fortunately because I have them on my blacklist they ve not got through. However it must be very annoying for those that don t have that facility. If you re reading this CPR: I M NOT INTERESTED. However if someone tries the same number 8 times in one morning they must be desperate for business. Probably company is failing and needs CPR. CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE.
