Definitely HSBC fraud department. It s a separate call centre to the central one as I was taken aback at the different "customer handling" of the fraud dept i.e. not as warm as the central team. It s a genuine number, just avoids the queues of the central number you d normally call.

Website package deals, not easy to cancel and involves a lot of calls to this number which costs you more money

I purchased gifts for Christmas and they want feed back. The gifts did arrive promptly and nicely packaged, no fault there. But I can t give feedback until the recipients say whether they are pleased or not!

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

Woman was telling me i have been in a car accident... when i havent. She hung up when i asked her questions.

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. Keep getting this number on my mobile, blocked by Mr Number, but would love to know who is calling me.

This number have been calling me twice a day, one in the morning another in late afternoon, for the last four days. I have not answered it yet but I am sure it is a sale call.

As I live within the area for this code (01594) I answered thinking it was a local call. No one at the other end so I called back only to get the "number unobtainable"...
