Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Got a couple of calls selling warranty First call said I had a Bosh washing machine, I said I was busy. The next day another call saying I had a Samsung. They tried to convince me of their glowing credentials, that they ve been operating for 10years. Got transfered to a manager which I asked again if I could check on Companies House website for Applianceserve Ltd Company number 08957597 and they promptly hung up on me. Unfortunately all appears to be a lie unless the goverment website is a lie...?

Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.
