I have been getting calls every 5 to 10 minutes from 9:00 pm yesterday. Pick up the call and just a series of bleeps. Not just from that number but 'unknown' and three...

Mobile rang with No ID shown so didn t answer it. Seconds later landline rang from this number, picked it up but silence, then cut off.

Soam/scam Ppi call

Call tonight claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asking if I received cold calls. A man with an Asian accent on a crackly line in a call centre then informed me that my subscription was about to expire. Clearly a scam so I told him what I thought of him and hing up. The number is not registered - is it not time that the phone companues filtered calls from unregistered numbers to stop this sort of abuse as it is untraceable.
