This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Scam - said they were from some sort of social housing repair team and asked what problems I've been having with my rental property, damp, repair needs etc. I pointed out I don't live in a rental property and they hung up.
This telephone number rang my mum who hasn't got a clue about online banking or the internet. A bloke called James Taylor claimed he was from Action fraud. He informed my mum that she had activity on her bank account that wasn't showing up, and he then persuaded her to transfer a huge amount of money to there account, saying she will get it back after investigation of a few days. Which would be to late. Please stay clear of this number and block them.
