I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.
No idea who it was but the heavy Indian-Pakistani accent meant that I had no idea what this person was saying. Hard to believe any legitimate company hires someone who’s accent make them unintelligible. Blocked.
