Called today. Recorded re two huge Visa card transactions. Realised it was a scam so pressed 1 to mess with them. Amateur scammer in the middle of a meal? Argued with her for a while until she hung up after becoming very irate.

I didn't answer to this call, because my phone showed me that is a potential fraud, so I blocked it right away!

Possible life Insurance scam, someone called me about life insurance and that terms had changed and i should move my policy to one of their others as i may not get any payout at the end of policy,they knew insurance provider, name d.o.b address,,this may well be real but i was not taking a chance as they sounded asian ( Sorry if this offends but most scammers seem to be asian etc,) ended call and blocked number, im sure my insurance company woud send me a letter advising me anyway.

Scam Call with automated message saying calling from bank security about two transactions to Amazon and an international money transfer service. Several calls have been received from different numbers each time with the same message.

SCAM Pretended to be from BT Open Reach and told me my ROUTER was not connecting to the network properly. I told the Indian woman that no it won't be as its a Virgin Media Router connected to the independent Virgin Media Network! and it is working great! then I hung up.

02036109310 SCAM I believe, Claimed to be Edward from virgin media about my firewall protection...was very keen to want to send me something on my mobile. He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?

020 80583227 Spam / fraud / phishing call. Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.
