Indian chap rang asked if I was Mrs Spencer (it wasn't my surname but I didn't tell him that). He said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (LOTS of other Indian-sounding people talking in the background, sounded like a call centre). Asked if I was still receiving scam phone calls. They asked for my bank sort code, (I gave them one that I knew from Coventry) Then in an effort to prove they were legit, proceeded to tell me where my bank was. This scam revolves around a supposed transaction from your bank card. Never tell these guys any real information.
