Calls regularly, but when I answer there is nobody on the other end. I called the number back but either don t get an answer or it rings out. It is a Glasgow dialling code but I don t know anybody in Glasgow and have no dealings with any businesses there. I ve blocked the number and reported to OFCOM. I would advise anybody else being pestered by this number to do the same.

SCAM I recieved a telephone call from what sounded like a call center, but the number was local (01942 491331) the man who spoke was asian sounding claiming to be from the' tax office', said I owed 6 months taxes. I challenged him and asked what ref number he had, he couldn't tell me so I asked for a name and number to call back but he just insisted I pay now or I would be arrested!, so I asked how much? he still couldn't tell me or even my name, just repeated my phone number. I then called him a scammer

Some Scouse girl, probably high on drugs, mentioned TPS, told me I'd opted in, asked with who, no answer, Muppets....
Called claiming to be from HMRC. Recorded message from a female with an American accent, calling herself Agent Sarah Wilson. Said to not ignore the message. I know this is a scam but I called the number. The phone was answered by a male with an Indian accent, claiming to be HMRC. When I questioned this he just hung up. Another number now on my blocked calls list!!
