Happy jovial female caller who knew me by name. Asking about the guanantee on my new windows. Could not give me specific details regarding new windows when I asked her twice. She hung up....I suspect this was a scam call to get hold of personal details. When I tried calling this number the line went dead.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.

rings about 20 times a week but never anyone at the other end when you answer or just goes to please hold the line your call is very important to us when you call back in a foreign accent.
All the calls are interfering in my work life constantly calling me, recently being asked by my maiden name, so clearly recently someone has sold my old details. If I have the time I will talk and talk asking them questions till they re so fed up with me they put the phone down on me
