Very hard sales tactics and don?t take no for an answer. When I explained that I didn?t want the insurance, his tone changed and wouldn?t stop trying to convince me that I was being ridiculous for not wanting it. I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Being a resident of Wigan Borough I answered this Wigan number (01942) in case it was something important. Caller identified themselves as Insurance Review, saying I needed to review my Life Insurance, they mentioned the panel of insurers they work on behalf of and said they give impartial advice . I can t say whether they are legitimate or not, but seems like they re just a 3rd party sales/referral channel for these insurers. Probably nothing more than an irritation, but I would avoid giving details
