We have had 5 calls from this number this week. Husband challenged them why he was calling and was given a load of abuse. Don t know if this has anything to do with it but we recently changed providers from Sky to Plusnet, also we were bombarded with calls like this a few years back when we switched from BT to Sky.the timeing just seams a bit odd

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. Believe this number to be a scam. They called me with an automated message claiming to be amazon. It said that i was about to be charged for amazon prime (which i dont have), and if i dont want that to happen press 1. Obviously i didnt press 1 as that probably goes through to scammers.
We did say buyer beware, we would have refunded you all but we were forsed to close due to all the complaits you all made, shame :(
They have phoned my home every day for the last 6 months! They will not stop phoning my home no matter how rude you get with them.
