In frustration I eventually dialled 2 and told a rather bored sounding person that I was fed up getting so many calls from them and asked if he could remove my name from their so called Government Database. He mumbled something and hung up! what can I do to stop this number calling me?

Just had a call from this number came up as ACCIDENT CHASER (have phone warrior on my android phone). Told the operator (LUCY) the number they called was under the T.P.S. and got told they didn t give a SH*T about the T.P.S. and called me a KN*BHEAD and then hung up. Nice P.R Skills

I answered a call from this number. As usual weren t selling anything but when I said that the line was unclear and asked him to repeat who he was phoning from, the line went dead.
Answered this call and they said they were from Vodafone and said they were calling about my high phone bills recently to which I replied I have not had any high bills as never go over my allowance, the reply was okay goodbye. Tried phoning again today - didn't answer. Definitely a scam.

SCAM I recieved a telephone call from what sounded like a call center, but the number was local (01942 491331) the man who spoke was asian sounding claiming to be from the' tax office', said I owed 6 months taxes. I challenged him and asked what ref number he had, he couldn't tell me so I asked for a name and number to call back but he just insisted I pay now or I would be arrested!, so I asked how much? he still couldn't tell me or even my name, just repeated my phone number. I then called him a scammer
Told the caller they were cold calling and they hung up. Then rang another 4 times on my mobile. My landline already has a block on it

Just another telemarketing call center trying to persuade you that you have won some prize, just a scam. Block it, pure fake. Their classical call is "congratulations you've been selected to win £xxxx". Don't fall for it.
