Had a call today from a man claiming to be Windows who said that my computer had automatically informed him of a fault. Sensing this was a scam, I persisted in asking for a name (none was given apart from windows , and an explanation of what the error code was that he was claiming to get from my computer. Said they were from Portwest Associates Googled seems a fake company phoning about an accident I have never had when I refused to cooperate the guy got angry hung up and has since called again not speaking.
