HMRC called twice on 1/2/18 I was aware of it being a scam as it was reported in the Sun Newspaper and on the news that day. I tried ring the fraud squad but after a lenghtly wait on the phone was unable to contact anyone.I had been scammed 6 months earlier by same people when I was in a bad place and so vunerable.

Is there are regulatory agency in the UK that can make this people stop calling? Not only they call several times, but they hang up the phone on your face while you are politely telling them not to call. Disgraceful, a real annoyance.

I had a call from Barny White who asked for my husband. I put the phone down, he immediately rang back and said he was from NCPS Nuisance call Prevention Service.
