SPAM Claimed to be "The Energy Advisor for my Area" and wanted to speak to household owner. Obviously didn't explain their status, possibly/probably hoping I'd think it was some Official Position and to take them seriously.
This is a scam where they pretend to be BT and will give you te above number to call with an id code to verify their authenticity. They tell you they want to shut down your Broadband for 5 days due to errors - blah blah. Probably after they will try to get access to your pc in some way. Don t know cos I crashed out and phoned BT who said it was a scam.
