Got call from the number the guy said calling from EDF energy and asked for which energy provider you are using I responded with why you need this information then the call got disconnected immediately got call after few minutes from the same number and now been told calling from British gas and started asking for details about current supplier.

The caller ID showed metro dry cleaners but the caller said they were from carphone warehouse calling about a 'special promotion'. He said he got my number 'from the database'. Hung up and googled the number, possibly a scam using a legitimate business number

Fraud Pre recorded message posing as Credit Card company stating your card has been used twice this morning, one transaction supposedly for Amazon the 2nd I couldn’t quite understand but for large sums of money. Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. This number called me claiming someone had used a visa card in my name for a £900.00 purchase. They then asked for bank details, passwords etc, I don't have a visa card, this is most definitely an attempt to access my bank account in a criminal way for criminal purposes.
