I do NOT trust this number. ? a scam pretending to be Amazon.
SCAM First a silent call to establish there is a number. Second call, a foreign voice, purporting to be calling on behalf of UK HMRC (tax collection) talking about fine/charge for an infraction, and inviting you to press 1 to discuss it.

This may be a scam as the caller did not identify themself and just said my credit card has been used for 2 payments, I think £800 and £2000, and to press 1 to talk about it. I ended the call immediately.

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.
Received a call from this on my mobile. A real person calling claiming to act on behalf of an insurance company, interested in an RTA that I was involved in within the last three years that wasn't my fault. Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. When asked if anything had been sent in writing the chap with a "Georide" accent said it could only be dealt with by phone so number blocked and reported.

Pretends to be from block chain. They say that your crypto account needs to be unlocked as it's been lying dormant for years. They tell you that there's about 50k in your block chain account and to get to your account you need to add £300.

Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.
