Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... I too have just had exactly the same call as others from this Asian guy. I don t understand how these people can still be operating from the same telephone number without having been investigated and taken offline by the Police. Because no scam has actually taken place, Action Fraud don t want the detail, just to record the attempted fraud in their stats. Presumably some people are falling for this.
