Fraud : An automated message claiming to be from HMRC and claiming to be initiating legal action against me. An Indian accented call centre worker then asked how she could help me and I spoke briefly before she told me to shut up 3 times and ended the call.

Fraud Simon tried to deliver a parcel contact a web site
WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.

There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! Woman with bad English reading from a script. Said she was from british gas and wanted us to give our postcode, account number and meter number. We said no and she said she would ring back. Obviously a dodgy call centre as other people have said other companies and reasons for the call! BLOCKED!!

Also received from 01795432276. Caller said that £300 would be debited from our account from Amazon, also a much larger amount. These are not the first times these calls have been received. Checks on my accounts haven't found and debits so they must be scams.

Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.

Gets the usual response to unknown numbers, let it ring and go to the answer-phone. The caller hears the start of the answer-phone message and hangs up. Clearly has no message to leave or any contact details. Pretty good indication of a scammer or cold caller.
