Had 3 calls from Regus within 12 hours despite unsubscribing from their marketing

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.

We have had 5 calls from this number this week. Husband challenged them why he was calling and was given a load of abuse. Don t know if this has anything to do with it but we recently changed providers from Sky to Plusnet, also we were bombarded with calls like this a few years back when we switched from BT to Sky.the timeing just seams a bit odd

16 times one after another these clowns have called me while at work surly that s classed as harassment will be answering next time to kindly ask them to do one

Claiming they are three and when you don t answer you are bombarded with a answer phone message saying to ring this number up this is being done 3 times in a day I ve blocked similar starting numbers before and yet they still find ways to call you makes you wonder if you can trust anybody other than friends and family with your number these days.

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. DO NOT SAY YOU ARE THAT PERSON --- From now on, my first greeting to any caller would be questioning them. Now I may get even more spam calls by giving out that they have valid information. Male voice with mild local accent (ie British) addressed me by name but spoke too quickly for me to identify his name / company. Started to talk about 'Goverment Scheme'. I suspected telemarketing concerning insulation , solar panels etc. so promptly hung up. Might have been a scammer but most likely modern equivalent of double glazing salesman.
