If this really is HSBC s fraud dept they are staggeringly incompetent and l am by no means convinced that it is. Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check . May be genuine, but they asked me to repeat the same information re my account so many times that l was suspicious, and would urge caution

Scammers - clearly baffled by voicemail and left half a message saying "car accident that wasn t your fault, is that right?"

Called and like others, reported to be from Microsoft, said that they had the serial number of windows that was reporting that my computer was being hacked as we spoke by a criminal gang (how ironic!) and that they were from an agency who needed to stop the gang by stemming the flow through my PC.....Said we know an IT expert who we would ask to take a look ourselves, he (called himself Peter Wilson) said that an expert would not be able to find it. Became agitated and said I needed to call him back on 0042

Called after I was looking at the virgin media broadband offers but didn t go through with it to see if I still wanted the offer. I don t know why they used a mobile number.

Frightened me to death ringing at 2.19 in the morning. Nothing said but this needs to be stopped.

Sameas others said they were Internet provider I asked who they said BT and there was problem with internet and router . I asked if I can callback tried very hard to try and keep me from doi g that ended up putting phone down will not answer

A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to Clockwise Credit Union in Leicester.

Got a call from this number saying that I had successful PPI claim on a credit card and they needed UKASH voucher for their 10% commission - although I had never paid PPI on that card. A quick google check showed another cost trap with very similar number (02032864182) with almost identical MO. I shall therefore most definitely NOT be giving them any UKASH code, nor any other detail. Hopefully I can help protect potential victims.

I get at least three calls a day from this company who transmit automated tele-marketing messages about me qualifying for a government funded boiler. The number is 01604 761440.Most of the messages go to my answerphone and while on holiday recently they completely filled my recording space. I am TPS registered and they still persist in calling so I will be taking further action. Clearly this company is breaking the law and I am feeling both harassed and agitated by the annoyance. About time they were bro
