Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said, Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1. I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, screened next few calls to answer machine where no message was left, just silence. Wish these low life scum would f**k off and die!!

Person on the phone told him he was calling from HMRC, quoted some references that sounded legit, including the details of an arrest warrant because of unpaid taxes... But then when he tried to ask questions, person on the phone became really aggressive... Which only wound my partner up and made him ask more questions. I answered the call as i had been getting many of them from very similar but different numbers and when i picked up i waited for a answer and said hello? but then my caller hung up but i did not respond back. I had another a while before from a girl who asked if i was a person i cant remember the name of and that if i had a car crash accident i said no you have the wrong number and she hung up.
SCAM Automated message from 'Energy Hub' offering loft insulation inspections with free fitting. Said something about old insulation causing lung damage. Obviously a recording as when I asked a question the same words were repeated exactly. They eventually hung up. I would say that this is a scam.

Someone called me in Australia from this number; for no apparent reason. Did not answer.
I had a Call earlier and no-one spoke so I hung up then added them to the Voicemail List on my Phone, but then they managed to Call again! Maybe my Phone can t take so many contacts which go to Voicemail, and I don t use Voicemail.

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious.
