Called to ask if he could discuss the cost of funerals in my area. I said my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. He said I m sorry for the mistake - but am I aware of the cost of funerals. SCAM Coputer voice said they were BT and there was suspicious activity on our phone line and they were going to disconnect it. Press 1 for ? or Press 2 to speak to someone about it. As we have not been a BT customer for nearly a year and do not use there phone line. We are with Virgin that does not use BT lines. It was a scam ! I did not press any number as it would probably cost us money. This company have 100's of numbers under the same prefix and change every last numbers every few day.

4 calls in the last 24 hours asking the same question. The first two times, the same person, then a different one who has the same details, and then another with dwindling quality in customer service etiquette as each call is received.

This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). He quoted, correctly both my mobile number and my house phone number. Told me that the account would be frozen.
