Called by this number a few minutes ago. Answered but nothing on the other end, silent call. I do NOT know of anyone in Bangladesh and was highly suspicious when I saw the number as scammers from that part of the world usually hide their number of spoof a UK number. Added to my BLOCKED numbers.
This number is a scam do not phone it back. They suggest there is illegal activity on your bank account.
Said it was a return number to contact PayPal on a suspicious email. It is not the number for PayPal given on their website. The number on their website is a landline number not a mobile number.
Green Energy Together asking for a 25% upfront payment to secure our solar panel installation, they didn't introduce themselves properly so I didn't trust them and told them I'd rather stick to the agreement to pay on the day as originally agreed. They said I'd receive a confirmation email for the new install date but I didn't so I suspect this was a fraud caller.

SCAMMERS, asked if they are speaking to (my full name), I said yes and they said they have received a notification to investigate my account. I asked what the reason was for that and they said "well you have outstanding debt that you pay each month, is that right?" I said no, I don't have any debt and they hang up. I've never had a loan, not even an overdraft. So yeah, not a legit number/business.

What is the point of a reverse phone number search when all you get in a search reply is where the area code covers and nothing else.

SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.
