Did not recognise this number until I discovered there have been several complaints about it!! Not surprised to see The Vault mentioned time and time again - they use robodialling software and seem to be able to have several different phone numbers.

I had a call from this number - claiming to be the tax office - automated service said there is a fraud case against me and if I didnt stay on the line a warrant for my arrest would be issued. I stayed on the kine for a moment then hung uo as I did not get a human. Thus was to my work phone number not my personal number - i feel it is a scam.

Apparently they were chasing me for an unpaid Britush Gas bill. I've never been with British Gas?! I refused to give them any personal details. Very rude Scottish woman. I asked them to take my name off their call list, hung up and blocked them.

SCAM Although I use Adblock Plus, some websites insist I turn this off and I'm guessing thanks to this my Firefox navigated to a bad page PRETENDING to be Windows Defender finding a Trojan (after the first click inside the browser window it maximises the browser making this look more realistic) and requiring me to call this very phone number. HMRC scam call. Someone calling from India with no idea how UK tax system works. Tells you that you owe tax and HMRC will take possession of all your property and a police officer is on his way to arrest you. I had good laugh though

TPS is useless. calls coming from everywhere and yet the authorities do nothing, perhaps they are in it as well, so they can line there own pockets.
