I don't think this is a safe number - appears to come from a house in Mansfield Road, Bournemouth but the message says there has been unusual activity on your card mentioning Amazon & an international bank transfer. There aren't any banks in Mansfield Road. It doesn't mention what bank is involved & you can't call the number back I think this is a scam.

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. Called by this number, person knew my name then started saying weird things about my mother's body.

Fraud The Digital Direct company AVOID IT. They will not provide any services what they promise, and stitched you up with contract against yours rights as the customer. Never received from them any art work and any service they agreed to it. Just taking money from small companies for nothing.

The country code for 00234 is Nigeria so I would say be very careful with this number. Is most probably a scam.

SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !

The man with an Indian accent claimed that he is from Virgin media but asked if I'm with Virgin. When confronted being a scammer, hanged up.
