That company called me today. It's Countrywide Surveyors and they were calling with good reason.

received letter saying had won ?825,000.00 and to ring this number. Did not ring as letter said a "processing fee" had to be paid in order to get "winnings". SCAM. Sent letter back in their envelope telling them to "f**k off".

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.

PPI Claim harrassment

Selling caravan on gumtree amongst other sites, received text message asking me to email further information with an address. Email replied immediately saying wanted to do PayPal transaction in full no questions asked. I emailed back not interested in a scam. Reporting to PayPal. THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING EVERYDAY FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS, I HAVE NOT ANSWERED THIS, MY ANSWERPHONE AUTOMATICALLY ANSWERS ON THE SEVENTH RING AND THIS NUMBER ENDS CALL ON SIXTH RING EACH TIME..THIS CAN BE OF NO USE ONLY TO ANNOY YOU! SOME PEOPLE ON INTERNET SAY THIS IS ANGLIAN HOME IMPROVEMENTS (NOT SURE ABOUT THIS HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THEM IN PAST AND ONLY WAY TO STOP IT WAS THREATEN THEM WITH THE POLICE!!! THAT WORKED).

It called me and I didn t recognise it so didn t pick up, but then when I called back (after there were no entries here) it said it s an invalid number.

This number has called us several times a day for the last couple of days. We haven t picked up and no message is left but the calls are a nuisance

Basically was rude and ignored my requests to be removed from their records. Basically don t answer it, just block it.
