Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people. I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone

When I the call, I called it back as I was expecting a call from another company and thought it might be them. It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance. This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.
Apparently this number is safe but I don't know anyone in Glasgow. As tax returns reached their deadline last night, and as this is from Glasgow, I wondered if someone was trying to tell me I owed tax as a scam. But I've read that you get official letters if this is the case. Maybe it was a wrong number.
