Not sure if it is a scam, but concerned they knew my name, and what domestic appliances I have. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. Told them I don't need their insurance as would by new if beyond economic repair, and the caller seemed surprised that I could fix a recent washing machine problem myself. It's not difficult to change the brushes on the motor or to unblock the filter

A call from someone saying "card machine" and "what is your company name". They (whoever it was) called us! Foreign lady and there was a terrible pause on the line...
Well, the caller sent me an anonymous message on WhatsApp: "Hi i am looking for a partner who can supply my company with a raw chemical. Please reply back to me if you are interested for more details". I am living in Hungary, have nothing to do with chemicals.

Be careful dealing with this number. He is acting as a professional and showing a lot of fake proof for you to believe and get your trust. He is very dangerous in person. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number.
