Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.

It s a company ringing about debts they think you may have had or have and they try to reference your connection to a survey or some search you ve done possibly connected to you looking for the best credit cards available.
