This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!

as above they called to say we agreed to fund local school, then became aggressive when we refused to pay them money. Have checked them out, they are not a charity. They are registered on companies house under 10140828 a whole saler, no accounts filed and if you try to look at their reports, Norton blocks it as dangerous.

Cold called by "Holly Baldwin" which appears to be recorded message about an accident. Clearly a scam call.

Caller asked me also to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Fealing un easy I said call me back in 5 mins after I could check him out. Found this thread immediately blocked the number on my Pro Call Blocker box i found on ebay for ?25.

Asking for name of bank etc

This is from Lloyd s Fraud line first time they rung i didn t believe it was them as they had given me a 3 numbered code and told me to phone another number. Later that night they phoned back again and this time asked for my date of birth and then listed off the details of my last spending habits for me to say if it was actually me.

Purports to be from DPD about an unpaid shipping fee, with a link to a website. I believe this is a scam

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. I explain that I am neither of those names and they respond with "you re there, you ll do" and they are a nuisan

Another scam call from india with time delay - claiming to be from a call blocking dept - when questioned further the woman hung up. Easy to spot these ones!

Spoke to an asian woman who knew name, address and postcode and asked if I was in the 25 to 35 age group cause I sounded young! Couldn t really understand much else.

Answered but line went dead. Automated dialler I assume. Truecaller has Nexbridge Communications as the home and theey are a call centre telecoms provider based in Manchester. A...
