I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Claimed to have received information saying I had unsecured debt, but when I asked for info about who I apparently have this unsecured debt with, he told me he didn't have that info and kept asking fir my personal info. When I wouldn't give it to him, he hung up. BLOCKED!!

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
